The Bioabsorbable Threads has become popular options of non-surgical treatment for facial rejuvenation or lifting of sagged facial tissues. 
In the previous article, we have known that Bioabsorbable Threads have different materials and shapes - PDO, PLLA and PCL. Now these Threads could be further divided into three categories: Mono, Screw and Cog. So, there are PDO Mono, PCL Mono, and PLA Mono, the same goes for Cog and Screw Threads.
Mono threads- Smooth thread without harbs that help with brightness skin elasticity, and skin rejuvenation by stimulating collagen production. 
Which areas may be treated with Mono Threads?
Upper and lower cheeks, forehead and brows, neck and jawlines, nose to mouth lines, marionette lines, arms, buttocks, abdomen.

Cog threads- These threads have barbs that latch into your skin like small fish hooks to provide support and lift parts of your face.
Which areas may be treated with cog threads?
Jowls jawlines, neck loose skin, cheeks, wrinkles around the mouth and eyebrows.

Screw threads- These threads are made up of one or two interwinded threads, these are used to help restore volume to sunken parts of the skin,  as well as improve wrinkles,  for example, wrinkles on the eye rim, nasolabial lines, necklines, etc.
